The Dr. Ramona Bishop Brilliance Project

ELITE Public Schools and Touro University are proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking Teacher Residency Program aimed at addressing the critical need for highly skilled and culturally responsive educators in our community. This collaborative initiative is being funded through a competitive state grant issued through the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The project combines ELITE's demonstrated commitment to excellence in education with Touro University's expertise in teacher preparation to provide aspiring educators with a comprehensive and immersive training experience.

The Teacher Residency Program is designed to attract, train, and retain talented individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of all students, particularly those who have been historically underserved. Through a rigorous and hands-on approach, residents will receive specialized training, mentorship, and support from experienced educators at ELITE Public Schools, allowing them to gain practical classroom experience and develop essential teaching skills.
